Haw Par Junior & Youth Athletics Meet 2022
Students can benefit physically and mentally from participating in sports, whether they are organized or unstructured. All events are modified versions of actual distances or technical movements. All events are also designed to inspire a love of athletics. Modifications have been made with age-appropriateness, physical capacities, and impairments in mind. The sorely missed traditional relay event will return this year as a mixed relay.

Pacer Meet 2021
The PACER Meet is an inclusive one where able-bodied compete alongside para-athletes.
Both groups can “keep pace” with each other’s performance and progress. This can increase the level of competitiveness among our para-athletes.
This meet will also be the qualifying and selection trial for ASEAN Para-Games (APG) and Asian Youth Para-Games (AYPG) 2021.

2021 Classification for Intellectual Impairment
This local classification exercise aims to determine an athlete’s eligibility to compete in World Para Athletics competitions. A system devised by the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) describes methods for dividing eligible athletes up into sport classes. The aim is that each class should consist of athletes who have impairments that cause approximately the same amount of activity limitation in the key athletic disciplines – running, wheelchair-racing, jumps and throws.
